The output of another 2.4-liter gasoline engine is 167 hp. and 230 Nm of torque. An alternative to gasoline power plants is a supercharged 2.2-liter diesel unit. Its maximum 184 hp. are reached at 3,800 rpm, and peak torque of 400 Nm is available from 2,000 rpm. Basic transmission for 167 and 184 hp engines. is a six-speed manual, but for a surcharge you can install an automatic.

The Ukrainian buyer is offered exclusively all-wheel drive modifications of the crossover. Torque is transmitted to the automatically connected rear axle using an electronically controlled clutch.

Chevrolet Captiva favorably differs from other competitors in its rich basic performance. Already in the initial configuration, the crossover is equipped with 6 airbags, a full range of basic active safety systems, including a stability control system, multimedia with a 7-inch touch screen and the ability to connect mobile phones via Bluetooth, AUX or USB, a CD / MP3 audio system with 8 speakers, rear view camera and parking sensors, climate and cruise control, heated front seats, rain and light sensors, 17-inch alloy wheels.

In the top version of the LTZ with a 258-horsepower V6, the car additionally receives a leather interior, an electrically adjustable driver's seat, transparent rear optics, and 19-inch wheels.

Serial production of the Chevrolet Captiva has been launched in South Korea. The crossover has a co-platformer - Opel Antara.
