chevrolet cruze - American version of the second generation of the model presented in June 2015, but in South Korea the new sedan got on the conveyor only at the beginning of 2017. The car is built on the D2XX front-wheel drive platform of the General Motors concern, which was also used in Opel Astra K.
The new Cruises are equipped with a 1.4-liter petrol turbo engine (153 hp, 240 Nm) and a 1.6-liter turbodiesel (134 hp, 320 Nm). A 6-speed “automatic” is installed on Korean-assembled cars, while on the 2nd generation Chevrolet Cruze for North America, you can also find a 6-speed “mechanics” and even a 9-speed “automatic”.
For the second-generation sedan, blind-spot sensors, a lane monitoring system, a distance indicator to the vehicle in front with a warning about the danger of a collision, a rear-view camera, wireless smartphone charging, a heated steering wheel, and adaptive headlights with LED elements are available. On the basic versions, a multimedia complex with a 7-inch screen is installed, and as an alternative, a head unit with an 8-inch display is offered.
The Ukrainian start of sales of Chevrolet Cruze 2 generation is expected in the summer of 2018.
