Chevrolet Aveo Sedan- The debut of the sedan took place in 2011 at the auto show in Detroit. In North America, the model is sold under the name Chevrolet Sonic. The car was built on a new global platform jointly by the American and South Korean offices of General Motors with specialists from the German headquarters of Opel. The design has been specifically optimized for machines that use McPherson struts at the front and a semi-independent torsion beam at the rear.

Most importantly, when creating a car, they finally began to pay due attention to safety. After all, the last Aveo earned only one and a half stars in Euro NCAP crash tests. The new one received the maximum five stars. Not least thanks to increased body rigidity using alloys twice as strong as its predecessor.

Unlike many classmates, Aveo has an electronic instrument panel with a large digital speedometer. In terms of trunk volume, the sedan is also one of the leaders - 502 liters. At the same time, overall things can be easily accommodated thanks to the folding rear sofa, which is removed in one motion.

The Chevrolet Aveo is supplied to the Ukrainian market with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a variable valve timing system. The maximum engine power is reached at 6,000 rpm and is 115 hp. Peak torque is available at 4,000 rpm and is 155 Nm.

Clearance Chevrolet Aveo is 150 mm. In addition to the sedan, Ukraine also offers a five-door Aveo hatchback. Serial production of the model has been established in South Korea.
